Roots to Readiness™: Strong Roots Today. Ready to Thrive Tomorrow.
School readiness is about more than knowing letters and numbers. It's about building the confidence to try, the curiosity to explore, the independence to grow, and the skills to connect with others.
At The Meadows Early Learning Center in Parker, Colorado, our Roots to Readiness™ approach combines purposeful early education with meaningful experiences that nurture the whole child.
From 6 weeks through 6 years, every stage of learning helps strengthen the foundations children need for kindergarten and beyond.

Learn: Building Curious Minds
Inspiring a Lifelong Love of Learning.
Children are natural learners. Our role is to turn their curiosity into meaningful discoveries.
Using Creative Curriculum, we introduce age-appropriate experiences that develop language, early literacy, mathematics, scientific thinking, and problem-solving.
Through stories, conversations, hands-on exploration, and purposeful activities, students develop more than academic knowledge. They learn to question, investigate, and approach new challenges with confidence.
Because being ready for school starts with being ready to learn.

Connect: Growing Confidence & Relationships
Learning to Understand Themselves and Others.
The ability to communicate, build friendships, manage emotions, and work alongside others is just as important as academic development.
Through supportive relationships and everyday interactions, students develop empathy, independence, emotional awareness, and social confidence.
From an infant's earliest connections to a preschooler's growing friendships, each experience helps children feel secure, understood, and ready to participate in the world around them.
Strong relationships build confident learners.

Imagine: Inspiring Creativity & Discovery
Where Imagination Becomes Learning.
Play isn't a break from learning. It's one of the most meaningful ways children discover what they're capable of.
Through creative activities, imaginative play, building, experimenting, and exploration, students strengthen their ability to think independently, collaborate, and solve problems.
We encourage children to explore their own ideas, discover different possibilities, and learn through trying.
Because the ability to think creatively matters far beyond the classroom.

Move: Developing Healthy Bodies & Habits
Building Strong Bodies and Capable Minds.
Movement is an essential part of early childhood development, which is why we make physical activity and healthy routines a priority.
With a goal of approximately two hours of outdoor activity each day, weather and conditions permitting, students have opportunities to run, climb, balance, explore, and build physical confidence.
Nutritious meals and snacks, including catered hot lunches, complement our focus on movement and help introduce healthy habits from an early age.
Active bodies. Curious minds. Healthy beginnings.
Every Experience Has a Purpose.
Our four foundations aren't separate subjects. They work together throughout every student's day.
A child building a pretend restaurant might practice counting through Learn, negotiate roles through Connect, invent scenarios through Imagine, and develop coordination through Move.
One activity. Multiple opportunities for growth.
This connected approach helps us focus on developmental progress, not simply the activities children complete.
Because at The Meadows, readiness isn't rushed. It's grown.
